Hello, I have recently had a problem with a money wire I did from my TD Bank in CT to my bank in the UK. The amount that was sent was different to the amount received by a much larger amount than usual (more than $600) I do these transfers on a regular basis and this has never happened before. I was advised to go into my bank in CT and request an MT103 to trace the movement of the money. Unfortunately, the people who work at the bank have told me there is no such thing as an MT103?
Can you give me more information?

Hi Cara. Thanks for reaching out to us about your recent wire transfer.
While we may have been unfamiliar with that particular term, we can initiate a wire investigation that would trace the wire to obtain information about any fees that may have been charged by intermediary banks that participated in transmitting your wire transfer. To start this process, please visit us at a local TD Bank Store and request a wire investigation. To find a TD Bank Store near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
Please also be aware that if the wire transfer was sent in U.S. Dollars, foreign currency exchange would apply. Rates are constantly fluctuating and would have been calculated by your bank or an intermediary bank at the time it was received. While this may be information we can obtain in the trace, your bank in the U.K. should be able to provide you with the rate that was used at the time of the exchange.
We hope this helps, Cara. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores.
