Hi Leah, thanks for stopping by TD Helps today. Purchasing a money order or cashier’s check (official check) can be very simple and quick.
If you have a TD Bank account or if you are member of the TD Go Card service, you may step into any local TD Bank Store (lobby or drive-thru) and purchase a money order. Money orders can be purchased for any amount up to $1000.00 with a charge of $5.00.
An official check can be purchased for any amount with a charge of $8.00. Purchasing an official check is subject to availability due to the amount requested, therefore we recommend contacting your local TD Bank prior to visiting. For TD Store phone numbers, locations and hours please visit: http://bit.ly/1f9DSJR.
If the money order is needed immediately and you have the account information of the person the check is made out to, you may then deposit the money order into their account. Please note, for additional details on our funds availability policy, please click this link: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (Pg 35-37).
We hope the above information helps, Leah. Have a wonderful day and be sure to let us know if you have any further questions!
