I want my sister to mail my check from the government to TD directly for deposit but I'm not around to endorse the back. Does that work?

Thanks for connecting with us on TD Helps, Lawrence.
If your TD account was opened here, in the United States, you may ask your sister to mail this check to the following address:
TD Bank, N.A.
P.O. Box Number 1190
Lewiston, ME 04243
Before mailing in your check, we recommend visiting here: http://go.td.com/1kb17UQ to learn more about our funds availability policy starting on page 40. Also keep in mind that the TD Bank is not responsible for items lost in mail. Here are some additional tips to consider prior to mailing your deposit:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Please write "For Deposit Only" on the back of the check
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write the account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
If you have additional questions for us, our 24/7 Banking Specialists can be reached directly at 888-751-9000.
In addition, we noticed that you are writing in from Canada. If you opened your TD account with our affiliate, TD Canada Trust, their TD Helps page can be found here: http://go.td.com/1Ymzfmu. Additionally, they can be reached by phone directly 24/7 at 1-866-222-3456 to answer any banking questions you may have.
