Since you mentioned that all the account info is still on the check, we recommend checking with the TD Bank Store where you will be making your deposit to evaluate the check. Feel free to check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores for TD locations and lobby hours near you.
If the damage has impacted the MICR line of the check (line containing the routing and account information), a new check will be needed. Without complete account information, please keep in mind that the funds from the check may not be able to be collected from the originating bank. We recommend reaching out to the party who provided the check so that they can cancel the existing one and provide a replacement for you. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
