Good afternoon, Lauren, and thanks for bringing your concerns to TD Helps today.
We'd first like to take a moment to explain that, at this time, TD bank is unable to track or locate a misplaced debit card. If you are unable to locate your card, we'd like to recommend that you connect with us directly so that we may close your card as soon as possible to prevent any fraudulent transactions from occurring.
You have a couple different ways to connect with us, and we'll be happy to provide you with all your options so that you may choose the one that is most convenient for you. First, you may dial 1-888-751-9000 to speak with one of our Banking Specialists, who for your convenience are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customer Service Representatives are also happy to help, during lobby hours, at any number of our Store locations. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
If you're unable to call or visit a Store location, that’s okay, as you may always send us a secure message. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'.
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
Regardless of the method you choose, after your card has been successfully closed, you may request to have a new one created for you. By visiting your nearest TD Store location, a Representative will be able to provide you with a debit card on the spot as all of our Store locations provide instant issue debit cards. If you would prefer to have your card mailed to you, a Banking Specialists will be happy to process your request either over the phone, or by secure message. If you're going to have your card mailed, please be sure to confirm your address with the Specialist assisting you.
We look forward to hearing from you soon, Lauren.
Take care, and enjoy your holiday weekend.
