Welcome to the TD Helps community, John. We appreciate your interest in banking with us and would be happy to help you with access options.
If you are currently a Customer with us here in the US and also a TD Canada Trust Customer, you may contact our Cross-Border Banking Specialists at 1-877-700-2913, available 24/7, to initiate a transfer between both accounts. After account verification, our Specialists would be more than happy to help.
If you are inquiring about opening a TD Canada Trust account to do banking across both borders we recommend taking a look at an example from our friends up north: http://bit.ly/1xktpIo.
You can certainly open an account with us here in the United States; however, we currently only offer U.S. dollar account. Take a look at our many different types of Checking accounts here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a Checking account that is the best fit you. To view and compare personal Savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM; which can help you choose the best Savings account for your needs.
Once you have decided the type of the account you may click here: http://bit.ly/1fN7u4i to take you directly to the account opening application. You may also feel free to call us directly 24/7 at (888) 751-9000 with any questions you may have and set up your new account via telephone.
As always, you are welcome to stop by your nearest TD Bank store to speak with a banking specialist regarding new account options to determine what product type fits you the best. To find out TD store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. You will need to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
We hope that this helps out, John. Let us know if you have any other questions!
