You'll be glad to know that you can close your account at any TD Bank Store near you without the joint account owner. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
There are other ways that you can close the account that we'd like to share with you as well. If the account is already at zero balance, you may call us at 888-751-9000 to have it closed. We're available here 24/7 if you can't make it into a Store location to close your account. Also, you're more than welcome to send us a Secure Message via your Online Banking profile by logging in here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and looking to the Message Center on the left-hand side. You'll find a link to 'Send a Message' there, where you can submit your request. Please be sure to specify the account number you wish to close if you choose this method.
If you have a Business account with us that you'd like to close, this request must be completed at a TD Bank Store location.
