I want my children to learn how to invest in stocks and have control of their assets. I don't necessarily want them to be locked into a retirement account or have the account tied to their education. Is there a custodial account that I can open for that purpose?

Good afternoon, Chris and thanks for considering TD Bank for your banking needs.
Please find the Savings products offered by TD Bank listed here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT. We'd recommend reviewing any product you may like to find out more, and depending on the type of savings you're looking for, we also invite you to use our Savings Selector Tool at http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd which can help you find the best account for what you have in mind. Additionally, please find any information about savings products for minors at the links above.
If you have an investment account in mind rather than a deposit account, we invite you to speak with our partner, TD Ameritrade for you and your children's investment needs. Here is a quick link to their contact information: http://bit.ly/1ygWAX4 and see a little more info here: http://bit.ly/1jv67cz.
If we can assist you again, please feel free to write to us anytime! We hope this helps and enjoy your day.
