My daughter us 10 y.o. and I would prefer she didn't have an ATM card. A passbook would allow her to see all she is saving at a glance.

Saving & Managing Your Money
In reply to Mali, Brooklyn
We're so glad to hear that your daughter is learning to save!
While we currently offer savings accounts for minors, these are no longer offered in the passbook format and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you haven't established the account with your daughter yet but may still like to, you can find more information on our savings accounts here: http://bit.ly/1g5vhXQ or, our savings selector at http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM can help you pick out the best one!
We have a few tools and resources available that you might like to use to help your daughter with her money management, and you can check out that page here: http://bit.ly/JfrZaG. Did your daughter participate in our Summer Reading Program? If not and she is within grades K-5, she has until 8/31/2015 to turn in her form and earn $10 toward her account! Check out more here: http://bit.ly/1iVvsVO. On that page, there is also a fun Savings Activity Chart, which she could use to keep track of her account even if she didn't take part in the Summer Reading Program. A link to that is also here for you both that you could print out: http://bit.ly/1EP4885. Or, in lieu of a passbook, she could keep her own ledger for the account and we can provide you with a register book if you stop in. Our Store listing can be found here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please feel free to call us, Mali, 24/7 at 888-751-9000 with any questions you may have. Or, click the 'Reply' button to the top right to chat with us again!
Hoping this provides a bit of help today.
Thanks again for submitting your question and we wish you and your family the best!
