Thanks for stopping by TD Helps, Viana! We are happy to say, with our Person-to-Person feature via your Online Banking, you have the ability to send funds to anyone, a family or friend, who banks with TD Bank and even with other Financial Institutions! We would be more than happy to show you how. Before we do, we invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cz3aim for all of the exciting details. A few things we would like to mention: to be eligible for using the Person-to-Person service, you must have a TD Bank personal Checking account, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security Number, and a valid unique e-mail address. To initiate a Person-to-Person payment, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from the main website. If you're not currently enrolled for Online Banking, that is okay! You can enroll for free by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Please have your account number, debit card number and Social Security number available. If you have any trouble signing up, please contact our Digital Banking Specialists at 800-493-7562. After account verification, our Specialists would be glad to help! You could also visit us at any TD Store, during lobby hours, for help. Once you've successfully signed up for Online Banking, to enroll for Person-to-Person, please select the Person-to-Person Payments Tab - You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. - Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment and in the next three business days the funds will be received. Once you are enrolled for Person-to-Person payment service, you will then need to follow the steps below to add a contact: -Get to the Add New Contact screen from the Overview tab. Click [Contacts] in the upper right corner of the screen. -Click Add a Contact within the To field. A New Contact window will open. -Enter First Name and Last Name in the fields provided. -Select to enter an Email, Mobile Phone, or Direct Deposit using the radio buttons. Enter the information in the fields provided. Then click Save. After you have added your contact, please follow the steps below to Schedule a Payment Request: -Navigate to the Request Money tab. -Start typing a contact name to select the contact from the list or add the contact. -Enter the Amount, either a "Fixed" amount or an Open amount. -Select the Account to Deposit To. -Check [Add a due date] to add a due date for the funds. -Enter email details in the Email Message field. -Select [Add a note to this transaction] to add a note to this transaction that is not seen by the recipient. -Click [Next]. The Person to Person feature provides several delivery options; you can choose between 1 day delivery and 3 day delivery. Depending on the options selected fees may apply. Please review our fee schedule by following this link: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt (Under "Funds Transfers”). Also, prior to submitting the transfer, you will be able to see the exact amount of the fee (if any) under the “Delivery Speed” section.
