I have a personal TD checking account but I am moving to Singapore in the next month. We will continue to be paid in the US so we would like to keep the TD bank account open. With this said, we will have living expenses in Singapore and will need to transfer money to a local bank over there. Am I able to do that through TD?

Thank you for asking your question on TD Helps today, Laura! It would be our pleasure to answer your question regarding account transfers.
We'd like to let you know that initiating wire transfers from your TD Bank account must be done at a TD Bank location. With that being said, you do have other options for you.
You have full access to your funds from any ATM that displays NYCE. Please keep in mind that fees may be assessed for using a Non TD ATM. Check out: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view our current fee schedule.
If you have personal checks, you can deposit your TD Bank checks into your other bank account in Singapore. If you do not have personal checks at this time and you'd like to order them before you leave, you may call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000, visit any TD Bank or order your checks through your online banking. If you're not currently enrolled for Online Banking, you may do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Please have your account number, debit card number and Social Security number available. If you have any trouble signing up, please contact our Banking Specialists, 24/7 at the telephone number listed above.
Once you're enrolled, please sign into your account, click on the Customer Service tab and select Order Checks. From there, you can customize your check order and choose your shipping method. If you have any questions, feel free to call us 24/7 at the telephone number listed above.
We hope this helps and have a great week, Laura!
