Thanks for joining us here at TD Helps, John. We appreciate you looking to TD Bank for your banking needs.
Based on your inquiry, it sounds like you are looking to open a Canadian Dollar account with TD Bank here in the States. If so, we'd like to mention that although we do not offer Canadian Dollar accounts at this time, we'd like to introduce you to the Cross Border Banking options that you can take advantage of. For more information about this service, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1ienPN4.
If you need to open a Canadian Dollar account to receive your pension, you may be interested in opening an account with our partners up North at TD Canada Trust. You would then be able to use our Cross-Border Banking services to transfer funds down to an account you have down here with TD in the United States. To speak with a Cross Border Banking Specialist 24/7 you may call 877-700-2913 Option #1, who can answer any questions you might have about our Cross Border options.
We hope this helps, John. Let us know if you need anything else. Have a great day!
