Hello, I am an existing TD Canada Trust customer looking to open a credit card account with TD Bank. I've noticed that previously answered questions have indicated that as long as there is a US address that I could provide within TD footprint, I can apply for a TD Bank credit card.
Just to be clear, am I not able to apply for a credit card with TD Bank if I do not have a physical address within the US?

Hello Brian, we thank you for banking with TD Bank.
In order to apply for a TD Visa Credit Card, you must have a current U.S. street address within TD footprints, have a U.S. Social Security number and must be at least 18 years of age or older. If this is the case for you, you are more than welcome to take a look here: http://bit.ly/UpkJy4 to find out all the info about all the Visa credit cards we currently offer.
Please be advised that our cross border credit cards are only available to Canadian citizens who currently reside in the U.S. and would like to establish their credit history in the U.S. Any additional questions can also be answered by TD Card Services Specialists directly at 888-561-8861.
Thanks again for submitting your inquiry here, Brian. Hope you have a great rest of your day!
