Thanks for coming by TD Helps, Karen. Before we begin, we'd like to inform you that here at TD Bank, we offer several types of Business Checking Accounts and would like to share them with you. We also recommend visiting our web page as it can make a selection based on your business needs with the Business Checking Selector tool: http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw. If you need assistance while reviewing these options, a Business Banking Specialist would be a happy to help via telephone at 855-278-8988. You may also request a call from a Small Business Banking Specialist. Click here: http://bit.ly/K9iZ78. Once you've decided on the best account for you, you may open your business account at any TD Bank location in the U.S., during lobby hours. For information on our TD Store hours and locations please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores. If you are concerned about the timeframe to open the account, you also have the option to contact one of our Banking Specialists at 888-751-9000 24/7 to schedule an appointment ahead of time. When visiting a Store, and if your business account is going to have multiple signers, be sure to bring them with you for the account opening process. All signers of the account will need the following documents: a valid photo I. D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and their Social Security number. If any of the signers are non-Citizens of the U.S., they would need two valid forms of I.D. and need to complete a W-8Ben form while at the Store. Please bring the Tax Identification Number for the business to the Store as well. If you are looking to open an LLC, there are some additional documents you will need to bring with you. One of the listed documents that are required for an account opening but you can bring more than one if you desire: The documents used to form and register your business, the fictitious name registration or the Operating Agreement. Additionally, you will also need to bring documentation of your LLC Resolution. In some cases, and depending on your type of business, additional or different documentation may be required; because of this, we recommend reaching out to the Store you intend to visit ahead of time to confirm what documentation may be necessary. Also, potential signers may inquire about what forms of ID would be acceptable for any are non-Citizens or non-Residents. We hope this information answers all your questions, Karen but please let us know should you have any further questions. Have a great night!
