I am a Canadian that has moved to the U.S., living now in Virginia. There is unfortunately no TD Bank in the area that I live. My US Bank (BB&T) has difficulty with Canadian Funds and charges exorbitant feels to cash. Is it possible for me to travel to Northern VA to a TD Bank and cash this check?

Thanks for joining the TD Helps community, Brent and welcome to the United States! We'll be glad to review this further with you.
Non-TD Customers may not cash non-TD Bank checks. This includes checks drawn on other TD affiliates, such as TD Canada Trust.
If you are interested in becoming a TD Bank account holder, you would then be able to deposit the check into your TD Bank account. For more information on any fees you may incur please check out our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you are a TD Canada Trust Customer and become a TD Bank Customer here in the U.S. you would be able to take advantage of the Cross Border Banking service that we offer. For more information on this service please check out: http://bit.ly/1ienPN4. You're also welcome to give our Cross-Border Banking Specialists at 1-877-700-2913, available 24/7.
