Thanks for your question, Denise. We'd be glad to point you in the right direction.
You are able to call your local TD Store or our Banking Specialists 24/7 to receive the latest exchange rates. To take a look at TD Stores and their telephone numbers please visit here: http://bit.ly/TDStores or call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000.
Please know that Foreign checks (drawn on a bank that is located outside of the United States and/or not payable in U.S. Dollars) cannot be deposited via Mobile Banking or ATM. We ask that you deposit these checks, during lobby or drive-up hours at any TD Store.
If you prefer not to pay us a visit, feel free to use our Bank by Mail service by sending your deposit to:
TD Bank, N.A.
P.O. Box Number 1190
Lewiston, Maine 04243
Here are some additional tips to consider prior to mailing your deposit:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted "for deposit only")
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write the account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
We recommend visiting http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ to learn more about our Funds Availability Policy on pages 38-41.
If you have any further questions, feel free to give us a call 24/7 or visit us at any TD Store.
We hope this helps, Denise and have a good day.
