I recently changed my personal and account information and need to update my debit card to match the name on my ID's. I was told I'll need to cancel my card and have a new one issued. I have a few pending transactions on my account. Is there any way to cancel my debit card without disrupting the pending transactions?

Thanks for submitting your question, Kristen. Please note, once a transaction is pending, it has already been deducted from your available balance. Canceling the debit card while the transaction is pending will not affect the pending charge. If you'd like to cancel your TD debit card, you may stop by your local TD Bank Store location to have your debit card canceled in person. To find out the nearest TD Store near you, please visit, http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR. If you'd like to have a new debit card issued, our friendly Store Representatives can assist you while you're there. You can even walk out with a new card in your hand! You may also contact our Banking Specialist available 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to cancel your debit card. Our Specialists will be happy to cancel your current debit card and issue a new one. Another way to submit this request is by sending us a Secure Message with your online banking profile. If you're already enrolled for online banking, please first log on to your account from here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a Secure Message" located in the “Message Center” If you are enrolled for our BusinessDirect online banking, you may use this link to logon https://go.td.com/1SwE0F7 and send a Secure Message. We hope this information is helpful, Kristen and please take care.
