Hey there , I recently purchased an unlimited metro card using my debit card on the MTA vending machiene . I looked up my balance online and it showed I was charged $31 twice for the same metro card. I'm wondering if I can cancel one transaction and have my money back and if so how?

Thanks for writing in, Stephanie. We'll are more than happy to assist.
If a debit card purchase is duplicated on your account, in most cases the merchant will only collect one charge. The extra authorizations will expire and be returned to your available account balance on the expiration date set by the merchant.
If these transactions were posted to your account or to determine when the authorization will expire, we invite you to give one of our dedicated Banking Specialists a call. For your convenience, they are available 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and can review the transactions on your account, and provide you with any available options during your call.
You're also welcome to send us a Secured Message for more information. To do so, please log in to your TD Bank Online Banking account at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once you have done so, locate the Customer Service tab at the top right, and then click on Send a Message. Please submit your inquiry and a friendly Representative will respond shortly.
Or, if you'll be nearby one of our Stores, feel free to stop in during our extended lobby hours. If you click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores, you can find the TD Bank Store and lobby hours nearest you.
