Please note when starting a new account application, you'll need your Social Security number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport. If you open your account online, you can make your first deposit using a debit or credit card (Visa or MasterCard), or fund the account with a transfer from another deposit account you may have, using the routing and account numbers. You're also welcome to make your first deposit in person, and please see our Store Locator at http://go.td.com/TDStores to find your closest Store.
