i activated the card but every time I make an online purchase it says denied.

From your message, it sounds as though you might be attempting to use your TD Visa Gift card for an online purchase. If this is the case, please note that you'll need to register your card in order to use it online or with a telephone merchant so that the store can verify your identity. Registering the card assigns your name to it and also protects you in the instance that the card is lost or stolen. To register your card right away, we invite you to give us a call 24/7 at 888-294-2249 to get your card up and running with one of our Specialists.
