In reply to Nancy, Lynbrook
Good morning Nancy,
We appreciate you getting in touch with us today and apologize for any trouble you've been having.
We understand your frustration as you told us that there are very little funds left in this account. Since you mentioned that the original passbook has been lost, in order to complete the account closing we will kindly let you know that you would have to visit us at a TD Bank Store near you.
When a passbook is lost, we require you to sign a Lost Passbook/Certificate Affidavit and present a valid identification at a Store. Once this is completed, we'll be able to assist you with your account closing request. Feel free to stop in during lobby hours at any of our Stores to complete these steps: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you have any other questions, Nancy, then you can reach us 24/7 at 888-751-9000. If you prefer, you can also schedule an appointment at one of our Stores for this service when you give us a ring.
We do hope this helps, Nancy and apologize again for any inconvenience on this.
All the best and we hope to see you soon.
Kristen P, Mount Laurel
