To best assist you we recommend giving us a call directly. To call us while you're outside the United States you may do so by dialing 1-856-751-9000 or collect with operator's assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518.
We'd like to share with you that cards bearing the Visa logo are accepted at locations all over the world. However, please be sure to carry more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues. Please note; fees may apply when using a non-TD ATM. We encourage you to check out our current fee schedule, http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, as it outlines any applicable fees that may come into play when you use your ATM Debit Card out of the country. Currently, any transactions done at an ATM not owned by TD Bank are subject to a $3.00 fee (fees may be subject to change). Also, please be aware that the bank that owns the ATM you are using may also impose a fee. As for the exchange rates applied when you use your debit card outside of the U.S., please know that the rates used are determined by Visa at the time the transaction is made.

Additionally, to avoid any interruptions to your TD Debit Card usage, we recommend placing Travel Notifications on your account(s). If you have not already done so, you can do so by calling our 24/7 Customer Service Line. If you're setup for Online Banking, another option would be sending a secure message using www.tdbank.com and requesting Travel Notifications to be added to your account(s). To send a secure message, you must first log on to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. After you log in, on the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. Please be sure to provide your travel dates and destinations in your message.
By placing a travel notification, this will help us be aware if we see foreign transactions on your account. Also, please be informed that for your protection we will continue to monitor your card activity even when a notification is set. We also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues.
