Great question, Victoria! We'll be sure to guide you in the right direction today.
Check cashing is a courtesy we offer our Customers free of charge. Being a non-customer, to cash a check that was written from a TD account there would be a $7.00 fee. Please note fees are subject to change.
If you are not a TD Customer and the check you wish to cash is not drawn on TD, we suggest reaching out to the financial institution which this check is drawn on directly to obtain their check cashing policy, or visit your financial institution to cash or deposit the check as this check would not be able to be cashed at TD Bank unless you are a TD account holder.
If you do have a TD Bank deposit account (such as Checking, Savings, or Money Market account) and you'd like to cash a check that is not drawn on TD Bank, it can be cashed at any TD Bank location with your valid photo ID as long as you have sufficient funds in your account to cover the amount of the check. Please note that the funds from the check will be held against your account until it has been cleared. You're welcome to visit https://go.td.com/1f9DSJR. to find a TD Store and lobby hours near you.
Thanks for stopping by, Victoria and please take care.
