I was curious if I can take my mastercard credit card to a store with my id to get a cash advance? I called customer service and was told I could not do that and that I had to use the atm. I'm getting mixed reviews that I can or that I can't. I just want to be sure before taking a trip to the store to be told no. Will I be able to get a cash advance?

Thanks for contacting TD Helps today, Lorelei. We'll be happy to help.
As a Customer or non-Customer with us, you are more than welcome to request a Cash Advance at any TD Bank location using a Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, H & R Block Tax Refund Card or a Prepaid Card up to $5000 per card/per day. Please note that your physical card must be present to process a cash advance.
Just in case, please keep in mind that we do not accept American Express Cards in our Stores for over-the-counter Cash Advances; however, if you're an American Express cardholder with a Personal Identification Number (PIN) you can access our ATMs with your card present.
Please check out http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR to find a local TD Bank store nearby to make a cash advance during lobby hours.
With that being said, as TD Bank is not the issuer of that card in particular, we do recommend that you contact your Financial Institution to ensure that your account with them allows for this type of transaction.
We hope this information was helpful, Lorelei. Enjoy the rest of your day, and have a great weekend!
Customer Service Team, Mount Laurel
