I got a cashiers check at my local TD today but realized I asked for the incorrect amount. How do I go about exchanging it for the correct dollar amount?

It's great to have you here on TD Helps, Matthew.
We are happy to inform you that it is possible to exchange the Cashier's Check for the correct amount and the steps to do so are very simple. All you have to do is bring in the Cashier's Check to any TD Store during lobby hours. Please be sure to write "Not used for purposes intended" on the back of the check. After doing so, the check then gets deposited back into your account and a new one will be processed. To find a TD Bank location near you, check out http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope this answers your question and have a nice day.
