I need to pay my rent through either a certified check or a cashier's check or a money order. I am currently outside the US so there's no TD banks near me. I obtained three paper copies of check before I left the US but I don't know what kind they are and if they can be accepted by the landlord. I sent pictures I took of the check to my agent and he told me that they might be personal checks. Is there any way that you could tell me what kind of check I got? The checks have the bank's watermark on them and contain routing number, account number, date, payee, and amount being paid in dollars. On the back of the check there are several lines that says "endorse here" where you're supposed to put your signature in there. Thank you very much for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Weizhen! Thanks for reaching out to us.
It sounds like the checks you previously received may have been temporary checks or starter checks. Your agent was correct; these would be considered personal checks.
In order to purchase Official Checks or Money Orders through TD Bank, you would need to visit a TD Bank Store in person. As you've stated that you're currently outside of the country, you may need to purchase this elsewhere, if available. We recommend visiting a bank in the country you're visiting to see if this is a service that is offered. If so, you may be able to purchase the check using your debit card or cash.
If you'll be returning to the United States soon, please feel free to stop into any of our Stores to purchase a Money Order or Official Check. To find a nearby location, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc. As there may be a fee associated with purchasing Money Orders and Official Checks, we recommend reviewing our Personal Fee Schedule here: https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Have a great day, Weizhen!
