I was told today by an agent at TD that they are unable to cash my series EE American savings bonds yet here it says you can. Is it because I'm in Canada?

Thanks for coming to TD Helps for your answers today, Amber!
We'd first like to let you know that you have reached the U.S. side of TD Bank. While you are welcome to visit a TD Store location during lobby hours to cash our any U.S. Savings Bonds you may have in the United States, this may not be the same case for TD Canada Trust Store locations.
To verify if you are able to cash your U.S. Savings Bonds in Canada, we recommend contacting TD Canada Trust directly. We have provided a link here https://go.td.com/1woOVay with all the options that you have when wanting to contact TD Canada Trust.
In addition, you may also send your question again through TD Canada Trusts TD Helps by following the link provided here: https://go.td.com/1Ymzfmu. A Live Customer Service Specialist may also be reached by dialing 1-866-222-3456. We hope this helps clear up any confusion, Amber. Have a great weekend!
