Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question, Libby.
If this is a one-time payment initiated via our website, you still have the option to change the payment amount as long as it has not been processed yet. To confirm the payment status, please follow the steps below after logging into your account online:
1. Click on the “Bill Pay” tab located at the top of your screen.
2. Locate the payment under "Pending Payments" (located on the right hand of the Bill Pay screen)
3. If it says "Change", then you can click on "Change" then update the payment amount instantly. If it says "Processing", you will not be able to change the payment amount at this time.
If you run into any difficulties or would like our Tech Support to walk you through the process, you may contact us 24/7 at 800-493-7562 option 3. Our Banking Specialists would be happy to help you with all your Online Banking needs. You may also visit a TD Store during lobby hours for help. For Store locations and hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
You may also reach out to our Financial Service Group at 800-937-5020 in regards to rescheduling your loan payment.
Lastly, if you have imitated this payment by using a different financial institution, you will need to reach out to your other financial institution directly to determine the possibilities of modifying your payment.
We hope this information is helpful. Have a great night!
