I recently used my debit card for four drinks at a bar and I see that the payment was processed but I also see a pending charge at the same place for the original amount (minus the tip). Do I contact them or you? Thanks.

We understand your concern, Brian, and we'd be glad to provide some advice.
We first recommend reaching out to the merchant directly to determine if they are going to collect funds for the duplicate transaction or if it can be cancelled on their end. If the merchant is able to cancel the transaction, it may remain pending until the authorization expires which can take up to 3-5 business days.
If the merchant is unable to assist, you are able to submit a dispute for the transaction once it applies to your account.
To submit a dispute, you are able to call a Banking Specialist 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Once speaking with them, you'll be able to file a dispute for the duplicate transaction and request a new card if you'd like.
In addition to calling, you're always welcome to visit a TD Store for any of your banking needs including submitting a dispute. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope everything works out, Brian. Have a good day!
