my account only requires me to maintain $100 monthly balance and i was charged a maintenance fee - why? Will it be reimbursed?

We're sorry to hear that your account may have been assessed a maintenance fee, and we'll be happy to explain how this fee is assessed in further detail.
Based on the information you have provided, it sounds as though you have a TD Convenience Checking account. At this time, this account type has a minimum daily balance of $100.00, and in the event that the balance should fall below the minimum on any day in the statement cycle, a fee may be assessed. If your account was assessed a maintenance fee and you were hoping to receive a refund, you're welcome to connect with us, and we'll be happy to review your account to determine if you're eligible. By connecting with us, we'll also be happy to answer any additional questions or concerns you may have in regard to this fee.
You're first welcome to call and speak with one of our Banking Specialist. For your convenience, Specialists are here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be reached by dialing 1-888-751-9000. If you'd prefer, you may also visit your nearest TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. If you're unable to call or visit a Store location, you would also have the option of sending us a secure message. Once you've successfully logged in, towards the right hand side of your screen, you should see a 'Your Secure Messages' section. To send a message, simply click 'Send us a secure message.'
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
