Can I cash a Chase Certified Check at TD Bank without an account for a fee? I was on Chase's site and they will cash a TD bank check for a fee without an account. Not having to travel to a Chase branch with TD being so close would be a real time saver today.

Hi, Frank. Thanks for coming to TD Helps with your question!
At this time, in order to cash a Chase Certified check at TD Bank, you would have to have an account with us. Customers are not charged a fee for cashing a non-TD Bank check.
It sounds like we're local to you. If you're interested in opening an account with us, we'd love to have you! You have several options for opening an account. As long as you have a US Social Security Number, you should be able to open it completely online. You can review our checking account options at https://go.td.com/2eQORxu. We have several savings account options as well. You can review those here: https://go.td.com/2qsWeEG. Accounts can also be opened by phone by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting us at any TD Bank Store. To find a location near you, visit us at https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
Please note that non-TD Bank checks may not be eligible to be cashed immediately following a new account opening, though we may be able to accept it for deposit.
We hope you're having a great day, Frank!
