HI I just received a from someone and want to make sure that the funds are there before I do the work. How do I check?

If this is a TD Bank check, you have the option of verifying the status of the account that a check is drawn on. You can call one of our Customer Service Representatives 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Please note that TD Bank will not be able to verify if the funds are available in the account for anyone not listed as an account signer.
Additionally, although TD Bank cannot verify if the funds are available in the account or not, you're more than welcome to visit your local TD Bank Store to deposit this check (if you have an account with us) or cash this TD Bank check with your valid photo ID. Otherwise, we encourage you to speak with your financial institution regarding a deposit of the check and their returned check policies, including any fees they may assess.
