Great to hear that you're considering us for your banking needs, Farid! It'll be our pleasure to tell you more about our accounts and deposit availability.
First, to review some information about depositing funds at TD Bank, we'd like to let you know that when you deposit a check with a Teller, in general the first $100 should be made available immediately. The rest of the funds are typically credited to your account on the following business day. Please note that checks in larger amounts (and some other exceptions) may cause delays in funds availability; additionally as a new account holder, for the first 30 days of your account, any check deposits may be held for up to 7 business days for verification purposes. For this reason we invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41 you can find our full Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposited funds.
If you decide that you're interested in establishing an account with us, we welcome you to review our current options. More information about our Checking accounts can be viewed here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, or use our Checking Selector at http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU. And our Savings products are listed here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT, or try our Savings Selector at http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
When opening an account with us, you have a few options! First, you may use the Open Account button at the links above to begin your account application. If you'd prefer to open your account by phone, feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with one of our dedicated Customer Service Representatives. They will be more than happy to help you establish your account. Or, you're also welcome to open your new account in person. Please see http://bit.ly/TDStores to search for the convenient TD Bank Store locations near you.
In any of these instances, when opening the account you'll just need your Social Security number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport.
Hope this clarifies your question, Farid and we look forward to speaking with you again soon!
