HI, i got a check from my grandmother and it has the right first name but she thought i took my husbands last name but i did not.
What should i do?

To best assist, we recommend visiting a TD Store with your marriage license and valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, State Issued Photo ID and/or Passport). If drawn on TD, your local Store should be able to negotiate the check for you. If the check is not drawn on TD Bank, you may have to deposit the check rather than cash it.

I ment to deposit it into my account, would i still need my marriage license?

Since the name on check you wish to deposit does not match the information on your account we recommend bringing your marriage license. Additionally, we recommend reaching out to the Store prior to your visit to verify what other documentation may be required.
