The state took some frontage to repair my road. I was issued a check for the land they took. It was made out to me and TD Bank. What can I do with it?

Great question, James and thank you for writing in today.
From your message, it sounds like TD Bank is the lien holder for your property at this time. If this is the case, we'll be able to tell you more about endorsement for this check when you contact our Financial Solutions Group 24/7 at 800-937-5020. Depending on the type of loan you currently have with us (home equity, mortgage, etc.) and the amount of the check, there are a few possibilities and we'll be glad to advise you of these when you call.
You're also welcome to stop in at any TD Bank Store found here: http://bit.ly/TDStores and we can certainly let you know the steps that will be needed to negotiate the check. Although it isn't required, we do recommend reaching out to the Store you intend to visit ahead of time to confirm if you will need to bring any additional documentation in with you.
We hope this helps you get started, James! Best of luck with your property and have a great one.
