I received an order of checks prior to adding my husband to our TD Premier Checking account. If the checks only have my name on them, but the account has both of our names on it, can my husband write checks without a problem?

Hi Jen! Thanks for reaching out to us.
As long as your husband is listed as a signer on the account, we should have no problem accepting your checks for payment.
We do want to make you aware that the possibility exists that some merchants may not accept these checks in person as his name is not on them. Should this occur, it would be their policy rather than ours and he may be forced to use a different form of payment. Again, this is only a possibility and it is likely that most merchants would accept the checks, especially check payments that are mailed in.
