Thanks for your question, Michael. We'd be glad to discuss.
As you've mentioned that you're interested in an account with us and are concerned about ChexSystems, please note that TD Bank does use multi-factor verification during the account opening process.
If you'd like to open an account with us and have had a previous account reported to ChexSystems, we would recommend visiting a TD Bank Store during lobby hours to speak with a Store Representative to determine if you may be able to do so. Please see http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR to search for a TD Store near you.
If you prefer, you're also welcome to make use of our telephone and online options for opening an account. Please keep in mind that standard verification will be included in the new account opening process to determine if you qualify. If you'd prefer to open your account by phone, feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with one of our Customer Service Representatives. Or, if you choose to open the account online, you may use the "Open Account" button at these links below to begin your application.
To take a look at our current accounts and see what may suit you, we encourage you to take a look at our Checking accounts here: https://go.td.com/2af7hJp, or use our Checking account Selector at https://go.td.com/KmmHe7. Our Savings products are listed here: https://go.td.com/1l6nLQ7, or use our Savings Selector Tool at https://go.td.com/1hXi2wF.
We hope this helps, Michael. Have a good day.

Thanks for joining in on the conversation today, Roger.
We'll be happy to help.
Most financial institutions, including TD Bank, use the ChexSystem to monitor when accounts are overdrawn and sent to that institutions collections department. If an account you have has been sent to collections, you may be unable to open an account with another institution until that balance has been paid in full.
In the event that you were unable to open an account with another financial institution because of an account you may have with TD Bank, we'd like recommend that you call and speak with a Specialist from our Collections and Recovery Department. To reach a Specialist, you may simply dial 800-354-9769. For your convenience, our Specialists are here to help Monday through Thursday, 8:00am-7:00pm, as well as Friday 8:00am-6:00pm.
If you're unable to call, you would also have the option of visiting a TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We look forward to hearing from you soon, Roger.
Thanks again for stopping by, and we hope you have a safe and happy new year.
