I just recieved a new debit card with a chip but the number is different from my old card, is this a problem or is this normal? I hadn't lost my card, just recieved this new one in the mail randomly.

We understand your concern, Katie. We'd be glad to clarify.
TD Bank has started reissuing all of our debit cards to include chip technology. Because of this, it is common for these debit cards to have a new number.
To activate your new TD ATM Debit card, you may do so 24/7 by calling 1-888-553-4122. Please follow the prompts and your card will be activated by the end of your call. For activation instructions and to check out the discounts available with your debit card, please see http://bit.ly/1FZhWQn.
If you have any trouble, feel free to call our Banking Specialists 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000.
We hope this clears things up, Katie. Have a good day.
