I am a US citizen residing abroad. I would like to open an account where I can have my monthly Veterans Administration compensation payments desposited into. I would also require an ATM / prepaid credit card that works here in Germany. Can you offer such an account?

Welcome to TD Helps, Regis! We'd be glad to let you know how to get started on an account with TD.
In order for you to get an account started with us, it will be necessary to visit us at a TD Bank Store. For hours and locations nearby, take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We also recommend taking a look at the accounts we have to offer. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a checking account that best suits your needs.
To view and compare savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 , or we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help with selecting a savings account.
Once you're able and ready to visit a Store, as a Non-US resident you will need to bring two forms of identification. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We also recommend reaching out to the TD Store you plan to visit prior to determine if any additional documents are needed.
We hope this helps you, Regis. Have a good day.
