I am a cross-border banking customer with a TD Convenience Checking account.
Several days ago I was going to set up a bill payment, however, was getting "You currently do not have a TD Bank account that can be used for online bill payments." when I went to the Bill Pay page.
I reached out and was told by a TD Bank representative that "The Bill pay feature is available to TD Bank Customers that have an address that is within the United States." but if I go to the Bill Pay page now, the Bill Pay feature seems to work now.
So, my question is: Does Bill Pay work for customers with a Canadian address or not? If it doesn't, I feel that the cross-border banking solution being offered is not useful to me so I will likely close the account.

We understand your concern, Josh. We'd be glad to clarify.
You are able to use Bill Pay as a Cross Border Customer however please know bill payments scheduled through Online Banking can only be sent to U.S. addresses only at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.
If you would like to discuss this in detail, we recommend reaching out to our Tech Support Specialists 24/7 by dialing 800-493-7562.
We hope this clears things up, Josh. Have a good day.

Thanks for clarifying. That makes a lot more sense than what I was told by the TD Bank rep through secure message (who also got my name wrong in her reply).
