i can not come in to close my account have no money in account how can i do this

We appreciate your visit Linda. We understand that sometimes individual banking needs change and we are sad to see that you want to close account; however, we would be happy to provide you the information requested.
As you've mentioned your account currently has no funds available, there are several options available to close the account. You can call us at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Specialist who is available 24/7. After account verification, our Specialists would be happy to assist with your request.
If you currently utilize TD Online Banking, another way to request to close account is to send us a secure message via your TD Online Banking. In order to send a secure message you must first be enrolled in Online Banking and to start the process, please visit here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number and email address. Once enrolled, you may send a secure message by selecting "Send a secure message" located on the left hand side of the page, beneath "Message Center." If there is a current balance or negative balance, we ask that you transfer funds to ensure the zero balance prior to sending us a secure message. If you need further assistance with the Online Banking enrollment process, please do not hesitate to contact our Banking Specialists the number provided above.
Please note, please allow 3-5 business days for your request to be completed if you are requesting to close your account via the telephone or secure message.
