I want to close my bank account but I am in the different country and I will not go back for several years.
I tried in online but I forget the ID and password. Also, I do not have SSC so I cannot use online bank and phone banking.
For those, I want to know it is available to close account via the email.

We'd hate to see you go, Takehiro, but we understand that banking needs change and we'd be happy to help you finalize an account.
In order to close your account online, you would first need to regain access to your online account. To regain access to Online and Mobile Banking, you would need to contact a Banking Specialist directly for help. From outside of the U.S., our Specialists are available 24/7 at 856-751-9000 or 215-569-0518 collect from any landline telephone.
Once access is regained, you're able to send a secure message while logged in to request your account be closed. To send a secure message using Online Banking, please sign in here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq and select 'Send a secure message' located in the 'Message Center' on the left hand side of the page. For Mobile Banking, select the option to 'Contact Us' followed by 'Send a secure message' after signing in.
Keep in mind that our Specialists over the phone and via secure message can only close accounts that have a $0.00 balance.
If your account has remaining funds, you're able to mail a written, notarized and signed document to your TD Store requesting your account to be closed. You can review the details of our TD Stores including their addresses and contact information here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
In your document be sure to include your current address so we may forward any funds your account had available and your final statement.
We hope these options help, Takehiro, and have a good day.
