I want to close my account, because I am in Canada anymore.
How do I check my balance to do that by online?

It sounds like you may have an account with TD Canada Trust. Please know you've reached us here at TD Bank in the United States. They have options such as sending a secure message or via text if you're unable to call them directly. We're certain they'll be able to help you close the account while abroad.
If we misunderstood and you are looking to close your account with TD Bank in the U.S., it can be done by secure message as long as the account balance is zero. If the account balance is not zero, we recommend removing the balance prior to sending your request through online or mobile banking. To send a secure message, log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. Be sure to write a detailed message including the account number you'd like to close. We can generally respond within 24 hours or less.
