If you still wish to close your account, there are a few ways you can do so. You can visit a TD Store during lobby hours for assistance. To take a look at locations near you and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
You can also call our Representatives 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or send your account closing request by Secure Message. In order to send a secure message you must first be enrolled in Online Banking and to start the process, please visit here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number and email address. Once enrolled, you may send a secure message by logging in and selecting "Send a secure message" located on the left hand side of the page, beneath "Message Center."
Please note that your account must be at a zero balance in order to close it via secure message and over the telephone.
