Or should saving and checking co-exist together? I have the td convenience checking account and I closed the td simply savings.
Also, can I still use my debit card visa, if I only have the checking account?

Good morning and welcome to TD Helps, Justin.
As a TD Customer, you can have a Checking account only. Your Visa debit card should work as long as your Checking account is in active status and the purchase amount does not exceed your available balance. If you wish to confirm the Checking account status, please feel free to reach out to our 24/7 Banking Specialists directly at 888-751-9000. If you wish to visit us in person, please stop by and see us at any of your local TD Bank Store. For a list of the Store locations, hours and telephone numbers, please visit here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR. Please understand that we would like to assist you directly, unfortunately, we do not have access to your personal information since this is considered an unsecured forum.
We thank you for stopping by today, Justin. Have a nice weekend!
