I am a N.C. resident and have a small savings account in a now closed S.C. Branch. I am in Charlotte and don't think there are any branches near and I'd like to close the account. Please advise

If you are able, you can visit a TD Store during lobby hours to close your account. If your not located near any TD Store locations, and your account is at a zero balance then you may call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or send a secure message via Online Banking. In order to send a secure message you must first be enrolled in Online Banking and to start the process, please visit here: http://go.td.com/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number and email address. Once enrolled, you may send a secure message by selecting "Send a secure message" located on the left hand side of the page, beneath "Message Center." Since this message will be sent securely to us through your Online Banking, no email address is required. Please note that your account must be at a zero balance in order to close it via secure message and over the telephone.
