I moved back to Spain and I have to close my bank account with TD Bank that I opened in Vancouver, Canada.
I am in the process of sending the remaining founds to my Spanish bank account however I am leaving a certain amount of money due to the applicable fees. Once the transfer is done I have in mind leaving 10 (or less) CAD in case I get charged the monthly fee before the account is actually closed.
I would like to know what is the best way to close it from overseas: mailing or online banking (however I am not enrolled yet).
What kind of documentation will I be asked for in order to close the account?
Thanks in advance.
