Hi, I would like to close my business account as the business has been discontinued. However, I have set up the account in Delaware. Is it possible to close the account in any TD New York branch?
If so, can you kindly advice on the document(s) required and if I may choose to withdraw the remaining amount in cash on the spot?

Hi, two more questions please:
1. What document(s) do I need to bring?
2. May I choose to withdraw the remaining amount in cash on the spot?

Welcome back to TD Helps, Kelvin.
Any authorized signer can close a business account by visiting their nearest Store. Just be sure to bring valid ID.
If the account has a large balance that will need to be withdrawn, we recommend contacting the store prior to visiting to ensure the cash would be available.
For your security and to avoid the risks of transporting large amounts of currency we also offer the option of an official check or wire transfer.
We hope this helps. Have a great one!
