Hi, I have a business checking account, which is less than a year old and has remaining funds in it. As I am no longer in the States, can I have a 3rd party close the account on the company's behalf? if yes, what are the documents required by the bank? thank you!

Hi, by "Representative", can he/she be an employee of the company (own no shares, whose name does not appear on the company's profile)? If yes, may I know what documents are needed in order for he/she to close the accounts or withdraw certain sum of money? thank you!

Welcome back. Kelvin.
In order to close your business account, a signer of the business must be present at one of our TD Bank locations to close the account with a TD Bank Representative.
Please refer to the above response for further details.
Thanks for reaching out, and please let us know if you have any additional questions.
