What are the requirements to let someone else collect a check (which is in my name) for me? I want to authorize my landlord since I am no longer in the US. He is already in possession of the check. I don't own a American bank account since I was only in Florida for 5 months (internship). I want him to collect the check in cash so that he can transfer it through paypal to my dutch account. What steps do I take to authorize him for this check?!

Thanks for your question, Stef. We'd be glad to discuss.
Please know that third party checks like the one you've mentioned must be handled at a TD Store. During this visit, both parties must be present as our Specialists need to verify information from both of you. We apologize for any inconvenience.
We recommend reaching out to your TD Store via phone to discuss if there are any other options available. You are able to take a look at our TD Stores and their contact information here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope to hear from you soon, Stef. Have a good day.
